Can you invoice me for my website?

In an effort to keep our Shaw Web Studio services as affordable as possible, credit card payments at www.shawwebstudio.com are the only form of payment.  However, to provide you flexibility, you have the option of paying on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.   If you choose to pay quarterly, you’ll get a 5% discount.  If you choose to pay yearly, you’ll get a 10% discount.

 

Does a Shaw Web Studio website replace my current website?

Yes, Shaw Web Studio websites are designed to be your only website.  Because it’s such a complete offer with high-quality content, full product catalogs, the ability to add your own articles and more…there is no reason for you to keep any other site.  Certainly, if you choose to maintain two sites, you can.  But once you see how easy it is to maintain your Shaw Web Studio site, we think you’ll agree that it’s the only site you’ll need.

 

What will my web address (URL) be? 

On the day you set up your Shaw Web Studio website, we will supply a URL using a standard format.  An example of the web address is as follows:  http://studiofloors.mygreatfloors.com.

 

Can I use my existing web address (URL)? 

Absolutely.  If you would like to use a web address that you already own, we can send you the DNS entry data that you can provide to your hosting provider to point your existing URL to the new website.  Or, if you would like us to create and manage a customized URL for you, we can provide that service for an additional monthly fee. 

 

Do I need technical expertise to maintain my website?

No, Shaw Web Studio is designed to be very user friendly.  One of the reasons that the Shaw Web Studio solution is such a good one is that you don’t need to have the technical expertise to create and maintain a site on your own.  We make it easy for you to edit content, add images, and create pages.

How long does it take to get my website running?

What’s the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 websites?

One difference is that a Tier 1 site offers up to 25 pages and a Tier 2 site offers up to 50 pages.  The main difference is that the Tier 2 website includes a Product Catalog.  The Product Catalog is a great addition to your site because it allows your site visitors to see the wide range of products, styles and colors that are available at your store.  The catalog includes interactive features, high-quality images, and specifications for every product.  It’s maintained automatically based on the products on your price agreement, so you’ll never have to worry about maintaining data and images again. 

 

Can I create my own pages on the site? 

Absolutely.  You can create your own article pages and upload your own photos.  With a Tier 1 site, you can have up to 25 pages on your site.  With a Tier 2 site, you can have up to 50 pages on your site.

 

Do I have to write all of my own content?

No.  Although you can write your own content, you don’t have to.  We provide a library of articles and images that you can pull from to create the site that most reflects your store.  We’ll add updates to this library throughout the year so you can keep your site fresh.   

 

If I want to keep my existing website, can I still get the Shaw product catalog?

Do I have to buy a Shaw Web Studio website to get the Anso Select Content?

No.  You can add Select Content to either a Shaw Web Studio website or to an existing site.  When you select “Buy Now” at www.shawwebstudio.com, you’ll receive instructions for making the addition.  

 

Can I list other manufacturers on my Shaw Web Studio site?

Yes, you are able to create new content about other manufacturers and lists of your other manufacturers with links to their sites. 

 

Will I be able to show other manufacturers in the catalog?

The Product Catalog that we provide will feature only your Shaw products, including carpet, area rugs, laminate, tile & stone, and hardwood.  It will be a stand-alone Shaw catalog.  If your other manufacturers offer similar catalogs of their products, you can create links to them from your Shaw Web Studio site. 

 

What if I already have a product catalog?

If you have created a product catalog, then you have already invested a great deal of time and effort into your site.  We can help you make maintaining your Shaw catalog data easier than ever with a Data Stream.  With a Shaw Data Stream, you’ll have access to all your product data and images with a simple login.  Learn all the details at www.shawwebstudio.com.

 

Are there set-up fees?

Yes, there is a one-time set-up fee of $195.  Once you’ve created a Shaw Web Studio account, you can change your selections at no charge or buy additional services at any time.

 

Are all of my Shaw products included in the Product Catalog?

For the first time ever, you will have thousands of images of Shaw carpet, area rugs, laminate, tile & stone, and hardwood products at your fingertips.  And as new and important products are introduced, they’ll show up in your catalog automatically.  Although there may be a few base-grade or other specialty products that may not appear in your catalog, you can be sure that your site visitors will see a full and complete view of the wide range of products, designs, and colors that your store offers. 

 

Can I add social media elements to my Web Studio site?

We provide a library of articles, images, and links that you can pull from to create the site that most reflects your store.  Included in the library are links and graphics associated with the most important social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.  If you’re already using these social media tools, you’ll be able to add these links to the home page or other special promo zones throughout the site. 

 

Can I measure my site traffic?

Yes, you’ll be able to see the activity on your site with a special dashboard of site analytics. 

 

Will my site be search engine friendly?
